We are excited to host our 2nd Annual #MakingFLDreamsBlessingBaskets in North Port, Florida!
Our second collection will take place on Tuesday, November 19th, from 5-7 pm at Heron Creek Middle School!
Thanksgiving is a time for family, food and gratitude. As a Community, North Port is generous and giving, which will make this event a great success. As the Holiday approaches, we are aware of many families in the community who are food insecure and who would appreciate your blessings.
Can you fill a #MakingFLDreamsBlessingBasket or 2?
Maybe with your family, your neighbors, your co-workers or your church, you could unite to fulfill the list provided to bring a “Happy Thanksgiving” in our Community - HOW MANY CAN YOU COMMIT TO MAKE?

MakingFLDreams and the guidance counselors in the local schools, will gift all the baskets to families in need identified in the local schools. **NOTE - counselors will be distributing the baskets so if you have a need, please speak with your child’s school counselor**
We will host a second MakingFLDreams “Happy Hour” DROP OFF on Tuesday, November 19th, from 5-7 pm! At Heron Creek Middle School 6501 W Price Blvd, North Port, FL 34287.
Here is the list of items to fill a #BlessingBasket:
✅Laundry basket to hold the goodies (no bags)
✅$15 Turkey Gift certificate (Publix or Walmart)
✅Cans of corn, green beans and cranberries
✅Boxes of stuffing and mashed potatoes
✅Can/packet of gravy & can of cream of mushroom soup
✅Box of muffin/biscuit mix
✅Non perishable dessert of your choosing
🌟Extras if you are inclined- additional food, dog food, socks, toys, toiletries, games, laundry detergent etc.
